April 2024 Solar Eclipse from Maine
Photograph by Connor Crosby
My friend and I had never experienced a solar eclipse before but knew we'd want to both see it and capture amazing photographs of it. Leading up to Eclipse day, we virtually scouted many areas along the path of totality. We also looked at many weather forecasts to ensure we picked a spot that would remain clear skies. We ended up finding this spot in Northern Maine (4+ hours away) with this gorgeous view.
I will never forget the combinations of feelings I had during Totality. I was both in awe and incredibly nervous. I wanted to soak in the view but also knew I wanted to capture to perfect shot.
I am so incredibly happy with how this composition came out!
