Many years ago when I began making images, I only focused on people's faces documenting my global treks. Since then, I have visited several African countries over the years and experienced safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. It is magical to enter the animal kingdom and have the privilege of observing the wildlife. My experience in making portraits has influenced how I make images of the wildlife. Amboseli No. 1 was taken in September 2025 in Amboseli Kenya. For the most part, my wildlife portfolios are in B&W, as a result of incorporating Japanese aesthetics to focus on the subject and the light, shadows, and texture.
