The Wrasse In The Red Sea
Photograph by Kathryn Teri Goddard
Egypt is known mostly for its vast history and architecture, but its hidden treasure is the beautiful atmosphere of its ocean, The Red Sea. While on holiday, we couldn’t resist going snorkeling several times and escaping into the world of the incredible marine life it had to offer. Many species live here, but this one caught my eye whilst I was floating on the surface above the reef. The Broomtail Maori Wrasse, with its vivid green and orange colours was amazing to see against the backdrop of the reef. I wanted to capture not just the fish, but vibrant and lively environment it lives in.
