Firewater: Kure Beach PIer

This shot was the result of right place, right time. No planning, just lucky to be there. The image shows Kure beach Pier in North Carolina. It's a very photogenic location and I've visited it many times for planned photo sessions. This time, I just happened to be nearby after doing a real estate shoot nearby. Something told me to save a battery for the drone for later. As golden hour turned into sunset, the sky began lighting up. I scrambled to set up for launch and flew off-shore to set up the shot. One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.
