Fly me to the moon, Let me play among the stars

When the moon coincides with any of four flight paths within sight of my home, I can be found outside with my laptop monitoring arrivals and departures around Tampa International Airport. On this day, 29 Aug 2026 at 07:39, Alaska Airlines Flight AS640 departs Tampa (KTPA) en route to Seattle (KSEA) crossing the full moon at 15nm and 12k ft. The random nature of these crossings requires a great deal of time and effort to catch that once of a lifetime photo.
