Eyes of Water
Photograph by Ang Wei
In Banff National Park, two small pools in a dark rock shelf appear to look back at the viewer. Their reflective surfaces sit beside rushing water, placing the suggestion of a face within a turbulent landscape. The photograph explores how recognition can change what we see: a landscape can briefly become a face, then return to stone and water.
