The Ballerina
Photograph by Jill Sneidman
I took this photograph at Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC this past summer. There was this incredible fountain that kept shooting water in all different directions. When I took this photograph and looked at it after I thought...wow that looks like a ballerina. I took ballet lessons when I was growing up and I wanted to be a Prima ballerina but my life went in a different direction. I still love the ballet and I have since been to many over the years. I always imagine myself in the middle of the stage just like this fountain is in the middle of this photograph.
