Spirit of the Forest

It was a chilly, fog-shrouded morning in late September in southern British Columbia, Canada. While hiking along the edge of a forest, I stepped into a clearing and spotted a solitary bighorn sheep emerging from the mist. The rising sun cast shafts of light through the towering trees, illuminating the fog and creating an almost otherworldly scene. For a brief moment, the world seemed to stand still—a fleeting encounter with a little magic in the morning mist.
