Contest entry
Los Cuernos del Paine
Photograph by Virginia Craig
While traveling in Patagonia, I had the opportunity to go out with one guide for five hours solely with the purpose of taking photographs of the spectacular scenery in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. It was an incredibly special morning resulting in hundreds of memorable images. The landscapes in the area are more incredibly beautiful than anything I could have imagined. I like this image because it captures the harsh reality and "wildness" of the area harking back to a time 100's of years ago.
