Last spring I finally bought a flash from my friend matt Lear. I’ve been putting off learning to shoot with flash underwater for way too long ! Last June I found this super friendly female turtle on singer island and shot her every day for a few weeks , she was so calm and unfazed by me i decided to try my flash on her. I swam out before sunrise and captured this shot. Love the clarity and detail in her eye! One of the best turtle shots I’ve ever captured:)
