Cleaning Station Close Up

It was the 2nd day of diving in Cocos Island, Costa Rica. We had already been to the cleaning station on the last dive the day before. This time I was ready.... I noticed before if you avoid eye contact and kept the lens down the scalloped hammerheads came in a little closer. With my head down looking over the top of my mask, I saw it coming in closer and closer. At the last second, I raised the camera and pulled the shutter, flash, flash, flash!
